Hi, I’m Kim - and I’m truly glad you’re here.

Sunrise Keepsakes Co. was born from personal loss - the sudden passing of my mom and the heartbreaking goodbyes to my beloved pets. I know how heavy grief can feel, and I also know the comfort that comes from keeping memories close. That’s why I create meaningful sympathy and memorial keepsakes - pieces meant to last longer than flowers and offer comfort when it’s needed most.

Each keepsake is created with care to help honor someone special, whether a loved one or a cherished pet. My hope is that what you find here brings a sense of peace and comfort, helps you feel a little less alone, and keeps you connected to the ones you miss.

Many people come here looking for the right gift for a family member or friend who is grieving. If that’s you, I hope these keepsakes help you express care and support when words feel hard to find.

I also share personal reflections on grief, healing, and remembrance through my blog, Sass & Sorrow  - as well as Gen-X conversations for the rough days - along with posts on social media that are real, relatable, and grounding. Whether it’s a quiet thought, a shared feeling, or a gentle reminder, my goal is always the same: to offer comfort and connection.

I’m the founder behind Sunrise Keepsakes Co., and I personally handle every order with care. Each order is thoughtfully reviewed, because I know how meaningful these keepsakes are and how much they matter to the people receiving them.

A little about me - I’m a proud pet mom to dogs and cats, an animal advocate and rescue volunteer, and someone who finds comfort in simple, peaceful moments. I love pretty skies, birds, flowers, and of course, my animals. Early mornings are my favorite - coffee in hand, birds singing, pets nearby, and simple, peaceful moments shared with my husband.  It’s often in these calm, simple times that I feel comforted and closest to those I’ve loved and lost.
